NextGen Ministries

“NextGen” is a shortened version of Next Generation. It’s young people from cradle up to high school. It’s inclusive of every person who falls into that demographic. It is an age group of young people who are literally the next, rising generation. NextGen isn’t another program – it’s a philosophy. It has unified vision, purposeful planning and steadfast prayer for the rising generation. Check out a comprehensive outline of all opportunities available!

Opportunities

SUNDAY MORNING
10am & 11am

Our nursery area is specifically for babies up to preschoolers. Our team provides a safe, nurturing environment for children to play and learn.

At 10am, nursery children will have a Bible lesson from The Gospel Project and time to play together.

At 11am, our nursery will remain open while parents are in Adult Sunday School classes and older children are in children’s choir.

MIDWEEK MEET-UP
Wednesdays from 5:45 to 7:15 pm

Wednesday nights will bridge the gap between what children are learning on Sunday mornings. Our nursery will have learning activities and time to play. Pizza dinner included also. Parents may drop-off starting at 5:45pm and pick-up by 7:15pm.

SUNDAY SCHOOL
Sundays at 10am

Children learn through interactive lessons, discussions, and activities as part of The Gospel Project curriculum.

On the second Sunday of the month, there will be no Sunday School. Children that are part of our Children’s Choir will sing in both worship services and then attend service with their families.

CHILDREN’S CHOIR
Sundays at 11am

Children's choir teaches songs that help children grow in faith while instilling the importance of being a worshipper. Our children’s choir will sing at the beginning of worship services each month.

MIDWEEK MEET-UP
Days & times vary

All youth are divided into “classes” or small groups based on gender and where they are in their journey with Jesus. Classes provide youth and opportunity to dive deeper into Scripture and to build meaningful relationships with one another.

SUNDAY SCHOOL
Sundays at 11am

Students will dive deep into the big story of the Bible through The Gospel Project curriculum. Sunday School will involve interactive discussions, activities and a time of worship.

Location: Youth Room (upstairs in the Family Life Center)

MONTHLY YOUTH FELLOWSHIP

Once a month, all our youth gather together for an evening of fun. The evening may consist of a games night, lake day, bowling, skating or a drive-in movie. Events will be advertised well in advance. There’s something safe and fun for every age group, whether or not you’re used to church.

Confirmation

Starting January 31st our youth will begin Confirmation using the Alpha course. Every Wednesday youth ready to begin Confirmation will be meeting in the youth lounge at 5pm. The course will be led by the one who knows it the best, Ben Juliano.

At 6pm youth will eat dinner that will be provided and have the option to stay for youth midweek 6-7pm. Midweek will be led by our youth leader Madison Mahler.
